Nagano Toyokazu – Photography for Charity

I’m completely in love with Nagano Toyokazu’s shots of cherub-faced children! He, Norikazu Hatta, Hideaki Hamada, and other Japanese photographers are all part of a movement to call out for donations through photographs. Prints for Charity.

It’s nice to see how artists / photographers are all stepping forward to do their two bits for charity. These two prints by Joseph O. Holmes (Shinjuku, 6:43) and Emily Shur (Imperial Palace Gardens) are up for sale at Jen Bekman’s website and all net proceeds will go towards the Japan Society’s Earthquake Relief Fund.

James White has created a really awesome poster to help raise funds in light of the recent Tsunami disaster. The first run of the prints have sold out, but there’s a chance there’ll be a second run eventually. He’s selling shirts at his website (here) if you’d like to do your bit for charity too!
